How to interpret the references
Use the tables to challenge assumptions—not to replace your bill or a site study.
A utility reference shows a documented rate for a named service area and billing period. A solar-yield reference shows a planning range in annual kilowatt-hours per installed kilowatt-peak. Neither value is a universal Philippine average, a quotation, or a prediction for one roof. Use the latest matching record as a reasonableness check, then replace it with the effective rate calculated from your own bill and with a site-specific production study when available.
For electricity rates
Divide the bill amount attributable to the billing period by its kWh, and check whether arrears, one-time fees, or a different number of service days distort the result.
For solar yield
Compare the low, typical, and upper cases with the installer’s written assumptions for location, shade, orientation, system losses, and equipment degradation.
When coverage is missing
Enter your own rate, keep a conservative production range, and ask every installer to identify the source, period, and losses behind its estimate.
Residential utility references
Actual bills vary by customer class, charges, taxes, consumption, billing period, and utility adjustments. Coverage is not exhaustive.
