Restoring your saved installer checklist…

This should only take a moment. You can retry if it does not finish.

Compare solar installers using written evidence, not sales pressure

Use the same questions for every installer so differences in equipment, scope, warranties, permits, payment milestones, monitoring, and after-sales support become visible. A checked box means you obtained an answer; it does not mean SolarGabay verified that answer.

  1. 1Ask for a complete written quotation before comparing totals.
  2. 2Record exact panel, inverter, and battery model numbers.
  3. 3Separate product, workmanship, and performance warranties.
  4. 4Confirm who handles permits, utility steps, testing, and handover documents.

What a complete installer answer should include

A useful answer names the exact equipment model, explains the sizing assumption, identifies included and excluded work, assigns responsibility for permits and utility coordination, states payment milestones, and separates product, workmanship, and performance warranties. Ask for unclear promises to be added to the written quotation or contract. Keep the original proposal and every revision so you can compare what changed before signing.

Do not rank proposals by total amount alone. First confirm that every company priced the same usable capacity, backup requirement, roof work, protection devices, monitoring, documentation, and handover support. A lower total can reflect missing scope rather than better value. Mark unanswered items and send the same clarification request to every shortlisted installer before making a final comparison.
