Inputs and methodology

Monthly kWh equals watts divided by 1,000, multiplied by quantity, hours per day, and days per month. Estimated cost multiplies monthly kWh by the entered electricity rate.

Philippine planning assumptions

  • Power draw is treated as constant during the entered operating hours.

Worked example

One 1,000-watt appliance used four hours per day for 30 days consumes about 120 kWh. At ₱11.50/kWh, the simplified monthly estimate is ₱1,380.

How to interpret the result

Use the result to rank appliances and identify where measurement or behavior changes may matter most. It does not prove that the appliance draws its nameplate wattage continuously.
